Welcome to Fairway Village Golf Course

Fairway Village has the reputation of one of the best wet weather courses in the area. It’s a beautiful and well-maintained 9-hole public facility that is frequently referred to as a “Hidden Gem” of Southwest Washington. Located just 5 minutes off Highway 14 and 164th Avenue in Vancouver, FVGC is easy to reach from anywhere in the metro area. FVGC is open and playable year-round, weather permitting.

Course History

Fairway Village Golf Course is a public course owned and managed by the Fairway Village Homeowner’s Association. The course was laid out in 1983 as the foundation for the new Fairway Village Golf & Country Club residential development.

Course Designer

Noted Pacific Northwest course designer and PGA pro Gene “Bunny” Mason was the architect of the course. Mason designed some 20 courses in the northwest including Persimmon Country Club, Awbrey Glen Golf Club, Eagle Crest Golf Resort, Crooked River Ranch Golf Club, Skamania Lodge, and Black Butte Ranch.

Course Details

Designed in 1982 by Bunny Mason, FVGC is a top-quality par 34 with five par 4s, three par 3s and a par 5, playing up 2,631 yards with three sets of tees to choose from– Red, White, and Blue. FVGC greens are Bent grass and fairways and tees are Rye grass built on a sand base.
