Course Designer - Bunny Mason

Noted Pacific Northwest course designer and PGA pro Gene “Bunny” Mason was the architect of the course. Mason designed some 20 courses in the northwest including Persimmon Country Club, Awbrey Glen Golf Club, Eagle Crest Golf Resort, Crooked River Ranch Golf Club, Skamania Lodge, and Black Butte Ranch. Mason’s design incorporates tree lined fairways highlighted by a mix of sand traps and water. Green approaches allow for bump and run shots while penalizing those that overshoot. Green layouts employ subtle breaks with defined back to front slopes.
